Our corporate practice brings an unusual degree of large firm sophistication
to a practice oriented to middle-market and startup companies. It is headed
by David Weinstein, an expert in technology-related corporate transactions,
banking, and electronic commerce. David has broad experience from both the
legal and business sides in the full range of business, legal and
technological aspects of intellectual property protection, exploitation and
transfers. Providing close support is Peter Friedman, an alumnus of the
corporate departments of two of the top corporate law firms in their
respective states - Lowenstein, Sandler in New Jersey and Weil, Gotshal &
Manges in New York. Peter's expertise is in the areas of business formation,
securities, cross-border transactions and venture capital.
The corporate practice is supported by counsel Larry Hersh, a registered
patent attorney with expertise in technology licensing and intellectual
property, and Ron Coleman in the intellectual property, distribution and
franchising, and Internet areas; he counsels numerous Web-based businesses
and enterprises leveraged on media and intellectual property equity and
licensing. David Marc Nieporent also supports the transactional practice in
the corporate and real estate area and is experienced at reviewing websites
for intellectual property, regulatory and business issues and working with
clients seeking to customize or create website terms of use, privacy
policies and other Internet forms and procedures.
